TAFE Tasmania, the leading provider of VET in Tasmania, is committed to fostering innovation and meeting learning needs by incorporating technology into course delivery. We offer our staff a streamlined and supportive approach to learning resource development and sharing through our recently developed learning content management system.

TAFE Tasmania, being an inaugural member of LORN, will allow our learning objects to be shared with VET practitioners across Australia, and give TAFE Tasmania teachers and learners access to other LORN repositories’ content.

Our areas of specialisation

TAFE Tasmania’s learning objects cover a wide range of industries and vocations, including hairdressing, automotive, engineering, construction, hospitality, clothing and textiles.

Our products

All TAFE Tasmania learning objects available through LORN are digital. Many are Flexible Learning Toolbox learning objects which have been customised and packaged to our users’ needs. More than 200 TAFE Tasmania learning objects are currently available through LORN.
